TRADE MISSION TO NORWAY 16-19 October, 2017

The Lithuanian-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (LNCC), together with the Norwegian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce (NLCC), in partnership with Enterprise Lithuania and the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania in Oslo, is taking a select group of Lithuanian companies in the construction sector to explore business opportunities in the Norwegian market and form relations with key local contacts.

This mission is to meet with new businesses, participate in pre-arranged individual business meetings, visit a leading Norwegian trade fair in the building and construction sector, and learn about building practices from Norwegian companies during site visits.

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessel Independence reached Lithuania in 2014 as the guarantor of the Baltic region’s energy supply. Vessel’s goal is to reduce Baltic states dependence on Russian gas.

Many Lithuania-based companies struggle to find relevant business contacts in Norway. Many Norwegian companies do not know about the potential that could be provided by possible Lithuanian partners. Business Network between Lithuania and Norway is based on the know-someone basis. Most of the business networks are closed for the newcomers. During this meeting we will share some ideas on how this issue could be solved. Afterwards we invite everybody to a discussion on how to build the Norwegian-Lithuanian Business Network.

Lithuanian-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce (LNCC) in cooperation with the Lithuanian community in Bergen (BLB) and Startup Weekend Bergenis welcoming to a discussion meeting on how to build the entrepreneurship culture among the Lithuanians in Norway.

       During event we will introduce you to LNCC activities and goals, we will share information about business environment and entrepreneurial experience in Norway, we will introduce you to one of the great opportunities to build up a team of professionals and start your own business, and invite for open discussion in order to find out the real challenges of starting and developing business in Norway.

Baltic Institute of Corporate Governance visiting Oslo

BIGG m logoOn the 5th and 6th of June Lithuanian-Norwegian Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure to be invited to welcome an international business delegation – this time 30+ CEOs from the Baltics, most of them coming from Lithuania.

The delegation met the representatives from DNB, Selvaag, Gjensidige, Innovation Norway, Höegh LNG, Ministry of Trade and Industry and Oslo Børs. The aim of the delegation was to invite the CEOs from the Baltics to learn the best practice of Corporate Governance and promote the Baltic region as a business partner.
